The Best of Fall 2018 Collections From Our Favorite Designers

Elysian’s Got the Fashion Week Jitters!

Every September, New York City is overrun by the most fashionable men and women in the world who are on the prowl for the “New! Next! Now!” in fashion. We always like to keep our eyes peeled for debuts or standout collections from designers we’ve known for years. But season in and season out, certain stalwarts never disappoint. We don’t know what they’re going to show at Fashion Week beforehand – it’s top secret until the models emerge on the runway, and in most cases, won’t hit stores until the spring of 2019.

With fashion week now in full-swing, we decided to show our favorite designs that are available in stores now. It just might get you into the fashion week spirit to deck yourself out for the shows.

Nanushka

Founded by Budapest-born Sandra Sandor after she graduated from the famed London College of Fashion in 2005, Nanushka is known for its carefree approach to luxury dressing. In recent years, the line has become a darling of the international press and the favorite of A-listers such as Gigi Hadid, Charlize Theron and Lucy Williams. We particularly love Nanushka’s faux leather designs which have elevated the state of vegan style from strictly granola to genuinely chic.

The Row

Established by Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, the former child actors who became fashion moguls before they hit puberty, The Row is known for its relaxed approach to luxury clothing and accessories. The name takes its inspiration from London’s Savile Row where the world’s most storied tailors make bespoke clothes for England’s elite.

Carolina Herrera

After 37 years of designing impeccable gowns, Carolina Herrera took her final bow on the catwalk in February for the fashion house that bears her name. Designer Wes Gordon has taken the reins at Herrera, and we can’t wait to see what he comes up with. Since Herrera is best known for wardrobing America’s First Ladies, so we hope Gordon stays true to the brand’s heritage and keeps it classy.

Tory Burch

It’s no secret that Tory Burch is a big hit with the Elysian staff. Her spirited, colorful designs are elegant and unique, and the quality of her fabrics and finishings far surpasses that of her competitors. We could wear Tory Burch from head to toe (and often do) without looking like we’re in some kind of kooky fashion uniform. That’s why she remains one of our go-to’s season after season.

1.
These luscious patent boots make us want to rush into fall. They are masterfully constructed from genuine patent leather with a gold-tone accent on the sole. Elegant. Impeccable. Tory.
