Where to Stay In Lower Manhattan

by Elysian Magazine

Manhattan is famous for…well, everything. Not the least of which is its hotels. It also can be mayhem to navigate unless you know the public transport system and when the weather is bad—as it’s apt to be in New York in February—hailing a taxi is impossible. You’ve got two solutions: hire a private car, which is fine if you can. Or—better yet—be smart and pick your hotel near where you’re going to spend your time. If you’re attending Fashion Week, then you want to stay downtown, in easy walking distance of Spring Studio, where the runway shows are happening. Just remember to pack comfortable, waterproof walking boots—yes, even hiking boots are all the rage these days—because you’ll need them.
