ELYSIAN took New York Fashion Week by storm in February 2023 with CatWalk FurBaby a concept envisioned and refined by Karen over a decade. She and her team filmed the entire arduous, creative journey – resulting in ELYSIAN’s first feature-length documentary, winning the prestigious New York City International Fashion Film Festival for Best Documentary. Since then, Karen has twice traveled to Ukraine to interview women whose lives have been forever affected by the war. The first documentary, Fight for Ukraine: 12 Women’s War, has received 10 global awards and accolades at film festivals in the United States and Europe. A follow-up film, Ukraine: For the Children, has received 26 global awards and accolades. Karen has served as executive producer on all three.
