ELYSIAN Magazine

A Day of Gratitude and Hope

by Amber Edwards
On Monday, November 25th, 2024, ELYSIAN invites the world to join them in an exclusive celebration of peace, inspiration, and global change as they unveil their 2024/25 Winter Peace on Earth Issue. This momentous occasion will take place at the Casa del Cinema in Rome, a historic yet modern venue nestled in Villa Borghese, just steps from the famed Via Veneto—a site synonymous with cinematic grandeur and cultural significance.
The centerpiece of the event is the European premiere of Ukraine: For the Children, ELYSIAN Production’s compelling documentary. Executive producer Karen Floyd, a lawyer, women’s and children’s advocate, and founder of ELYSIAN MultiMedia, returns to Ukraine in search of hope and discovers that the hope of the nation, and the future of the Motherland, lies with the children — today, tomorrow, and for generations to come. Chronicling resilience in war-torn Ukraine, the film sheds light on the lives transformed by courage and compassion. Its narrative of survival and optimism resonates deeply with the themes of ELYSIAN’s Peace on Earth issue.
The Casa del Cinema will provide an ideal setting for this profound occasion. Equipped with cutting-edge HD digital projection and offering an intimate yet sophisticated atmosphere, it is a space where culture, cinema, and community intersect. This space is a dynamic environment for impactful storytelling.
Following the documentary screening, ELYSIAN will officially launch its Winter Peace on Earth Issue, a celebration of individuals and initiatives dedicated to fostering peace and positive change. Visionary leaders, trailblazers, and global change-makers will gather to honor the power of collective action and innovation.
The dialogue continues on Tuesday, November 26th, at the prestigious World Changers Summit—a closed-to-the-public forum that will host a short segment of Ukraine: For the Children. This exclusive presentation will set the stage for an important conversation titled “Social Responsibility: Cultivating Practices for Enhanced Welfare, Justice, and Peace.” Moderated by ELYSIAN Publisher Karen Floyd, the discussion promises to explore how individual and collective actions can drive meaningful, global impact.
As the global stage witnesses this convergence of art, culture, and advocacy, the Casa del Cinema stands as a beacon of connection and creativity. Its year-round dedication to cinema and cultural events mirrors ELYSIAN’s mission to inspire and empower through diverse storytelling mediums.
In celebrating the Winter Peace on Earth issue and premiering Ukraine: For the Children, ELYSIAN reinforces its commitment to sparking dialogue and fostering hope. This transformative day in Rome underscores the power of storytelling to unite people, inspire change, and envision a brighter, more peaceful future. To learn more, click here.
