Who is Alexis Rose
Played by Canadian actress Annie Murphy, Alexis Rose imparts an aesthetic that is equal parts Malibu Barbie and yoga retreat leader. As she tells her brother, played by actor and producer Daniel Levy, “I don’t skate through life, David. I walk through life. In really nice shoes.” In short, Alexis Rose is the ultimate Schitt’s Creek diva – move over Moira.

At first, Alexis seems to be a ditzy, spoiled socialite without a clue. But as the show progressed, she grabbed the attention and hearts of the world. Her former life escapades often gave fans a reason to laugh – and to worry. “Do [we] have to remind you of the time that [she] was taken hostage on David Geffen’s yacht by Somali pirates for a week and nobody answered [her] texts”?
It’s obvious to see why from the UK to the US, “la-la-la, a little bit Alexis” quickly became everyone’s favorite catchphrase.
