On Wednesday, October 29, as the sun dipped behind the rolling hills of Montefollonico, guests gathered on the terrace overlooking the storied landscapes of Montepulciano and Monticchiello—a view so timeless it could only belong to Tuscany, a UNESCO World Heritage region revered for its beauty, culture, and history.
The evening began just as the sun began to set, casting a warm glow across the terracotta rooftops and ancient olive groves. Guests sipped Italian aperitivi—Terre di Nano’s own signature wines and spritzes of limoncello and Aperol—while the soft hum of conversation mixed with the rustle of the evening breeze. Terre di Nano, a lovingly restored 19th-century estate nestled between Pienza and Montepulciano, provided the perfect setting for such a celebration. As the evening unfolded, Karen Floyd, ELYSIAN’s Founder and Publisher, took the stage to welcome guests and introduce Christiana Purves, ELYSIAN’s exercise subject matter expert, extending warm congratulations on her upcoming wedding. With grace and excitement, Christiana revealed the newest cover of ELYSIAN Magazine, featuring Nebras Hayek—a dedicated service member and accomplished bodybuilder whose strength, discipline, and elegance embody the spirit of modern womanhood. Adding to the evening’s allure, a select group of Milan-based Italian designers, invited by ELYSIAN’s Style Subject Matter Expert, Andreea Oncioiu, presented an intimate trunk show featuring stunning coats, luxurious scarves, and one-of-a-kind women’s pieces. Among the many highlights, Karen and Christiana chose matching long jackets—one in white, the other in black—a perfect reflection of their friendship and the evening’s harmony between elegance and individuality.
