ELYSIAN’S Winter 2023/24 “Holiday & Fashion” Issue Launches in Aspen

by Celia Cooksey

What better locale to celebrate the holidays and fashion than in a city elevated by nature, blanketed in snow as if pulled straight from a greeting card?

ELYSIAN Publisher Karen Floyd unveiled the cover of the luxury magazine’s Winter 2023/24 Holiday & Fashion issue at a private dinner in Aspen on Saturday, combining high society and high altitude. Philanthropist Amy Green graces the latest cover, modeling Chopard’s holiday collection. Green’s cover feature has shown to be prescient, as she has since been named Chopard’s official spokesmodel.

“The Winter 2023/24 edition is dedicated to the spirit of charity – to the well of generosity,” Floyd said. “This weekend’s celebration was the latest in a long line of exceptional launch events with our ever-growing Circle of Women.”

The night had all the trappings of a winter wonderland, held at the cozy-yet-exclusive Casa Tua overlooking Aspen Mountain. The intimate evening drew women from all over the world, offering a chance to pause and reconnect during a traditionally busy time of the year. The muted white hues against the mountainous terrain provided a sense of solace, a reminder that the pursuit of peace is among the highest of callings.

Hosted by Chopard, Set Jet, and the Green Vision Foundation, the Enchanted Silver Bells holiday dinner featured ice sculptures, a silent auction, and a special guest performance by LP Giobbi, a DJ, music producer and pianist who is rapidly rising to superstar status. LP Giobbi’s incredible performance closed out the night, with upward of 150 people dancing into the wee hours of the morning.

The Rahm Foundation, headed by Dr. Christina Rahm and Clayton Thomas, also made a generous donation to the event.

“What an incredible evening surrounded by family and friends, celebrating the generosity of giving,” Rahm said. “It is always an inspiration to be in the company of such accomplished, determined and dedicated women who are changing lives all across the globe.”

EYLSIAN’s Winter 2023/24 issue features a profile on legendary actress Bette Davis, a look at the splendor of New York City in the winter, the magnificent jewelry of Piaget and, of course, the Inspiring Women interviews with Green and Rahm.

“I am thrilled and honored to be on the cover of the Winter 2023/24 edition of ELYSIAN magazine and be able to celebrate this in my hometown of Aspen,” Green said. “Coming together to find ways to support each other and make change in the most crucial parts of the world is vitally important – the work of ELYSIAN and its Circle of Women is essential to that mission. I also appreciate Chopard and Set Jet’s recognition and involvement in this worthy cause.”

Green and her husband, Gary, founded the Green Vision Foundation, which raises funds for wildlife and nature-related causes, including Tusk and the African Community & Conservation Foundation (ACCF). Having already raised more than $2 million, proceeds from this weekend’s silent auction will go toward achieving the foundation’s goals as well as Lift Up Aspen and Food Bank of the Rockies to support families in need this holiday season.

Scottsdale, Arizona-based Set Jet allows you to buy a seat, not the jet. The membership-based luxury private jet charter company services some of the West Coast’s most frequently traveled destinations, including Cabo San Lucas, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Salt Lake City, Scottsdale and, as of this summer, Aspen, Colorado.

ELYSIAN launched in 2015 and has evolved into a comprehensive multimedia brand that includes print, digital, film, podcasting, social media, and commerce. ELYSIAN Impact, the brand’s philanthropic arm, has disbursed more than $15 million over the past eight years to charities in five areas: women, children, animals, service, and the environment.
