Halle Berry is famous for her acting—and for her beautiful skin. She follows a simple, four-step anti-aging skin routine. “I love a good facial and skincare has been a big part of my regimen since I was sixteen,” the 55- year-old actress says. “I do it twice a day, religiously. I never miss a day.”
She uses Rehydrating Cleanser from facialist Olga Lorencin’s skincare line, applying it in circular motions for at least a minute, and then uses an electric Philips Visapure 3-in-1 Facial Brush to massage the skin in an upward motion.

Halle then wipes her face completely dry and applies Ole Henriksen Pore Balance Facial Sauna Scrub to exfoliate, applying it in a circular motion until it is evenly distributed before rinsing it off. “I really like it,” she says. “It’s very eucalyptus-y. And you feel like these little grains, like sand, attacking the dry, dead skin and sort of sloughing it off.”
Next comes a SkinCeuticals Hydrating B5 Masque, which is a clear gel that helps plump fine lines. “In the winter months, I like to use hydration more than clay,” pointing out that while clay can be purifying, it also tends to be very drying.
The final step is moisture. Halle uses Olga Lorencin Lactic Acid Hydrating Serum, which she first taps onto her skin and then massages in thoroughly. This is her favorite part of her routine. “It’s when you give your skin a nice drink,” she explains.
Her attention to her skin has certainly paid off. “When skin looks good, everything else looks good, so I’ve always believed you have got to start with the skin. Skin is the canvas. You can’t paint a pretty picture if you don’t have a good canvas.
