Join us for a transformative two-day experience that honors the power of storytelling and the strength of the human spirit. Day 1 features a luminous cocktail party dedicated to conversation, connection, and hope—an inspiring evening that sets the stage for what follows. On Day 2, guests are welcomed to an exclusive private screening of Ukraine: For the Children, the acclaimed sequel to Fight for Ukraine: 12 Women’s War. From premieres at the Kennedy Center and the American Theater to a special screening in Rome that inspired dialogue at the Vatican’s World Changers Summit, this moving documentary continues its global journey—illuminating the voices of children affected by war and the women fighting for peace.
Guests are invited to a luminous cocktail party where they are encouraged to dress in gold—a symbol of light, resilience, and hope. This elegant evening will foster conversation and connection among changemakers, advocates, and visionaries who believe in the power of storytelling to heal and inspire. Karen Floyd, the Executive Director, Publisher, and Founder of ELYSIAN will be present to personally welcome attendees and help cultivate meaningful dialogue throughout the night.
A highlight of the evening will be the official reveal of the Fall 2025 Golden Issue cover and the launch of the magazine’s latest edition. Celebrating the theme of “Aspiring Women,” this special issue shines a light on the powerful exchange between generations—honoring how inspiring women are intentionally passing the torch to those rising behind them. The Golden Issue captures the spirit of legacy, mentorship, and the enduring strength of women who uplift others, ensuring the flame of leadership and purpose continues to burn bright. Set against a backdrop of elegance and shared vision, the cocktail party sets the emotional tone for the weekend’s journey, inviting guests to shine in unity and hope.
Guests may begin the day with a curated morning breakfast selection before being welcomed to watch the exclusive private screening of Ukraine: For the Children.
In February 2024, on the second anniversary of the conflict, an abbreviated cut of Ukraine: For the Children was screened at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. ELYSIAN held the exclusive premiere of the full film at the American Theater in Charleston in July.
And in November, ELYSIAN held a private screening of the film at the Casa del Cinema in the heart of Rome. The next day, at the World Changers Ethical & Innovation Summit at the Vatican, clips were used to spark discussions about the humanitarian role women play in conflict prevention and peacebuilding.
Ukraine: For the Children is the sequel to Floyd’s award-winning 2023 documentary Fight for Ukraine: 12 Women’s War, recognized for its raw portrayal of female resilience in conflict zones.
At Cannes, the trailer’s debut appearance came just one day after Floyd received the Âme de lumière (Soul of Light) Impact in Cinema Award, presented during the Sustainable Responsibility Gala. This prestigious honor celebrates visionary storytellers who create meaningful change through film and humanitarian outreach.
