As ELYSIAN approaches its momentous 10-year anniversary, an unforgettable weekend of inspiration and connection awaits. From exclusive runway shows to thought-provoking discussions, this milestone event promises to be an unparalleled celebration of Women Inspiring Women.

For the past decade, ELYSIAN has accomplished three key objectives: It creates change through philanthropy. It connects women from all walks of life and from around the world. And it curates exceptional content, whether in film, digital, or print. Now, as we celebrate this incredible journey, we invite you to join us for a weekend filled with impact, empowerment, and elegance.

ELYSIAN Changes: The festivities begin on the evening of Friday, May 9 with a philanthropic event that supports the Spartanburg Humane Society’s capital campaign, honoring Major General Darwin H. Simpson—a dedicated advocate for both the Humane Society and the city’s downtown airport. Guests will step into an evening of elegance featuring live music from RKey Studio and Sound, exquisite cocktails, and a silent auction showcasing rare, luxurious items.

A highlight of the night will be the exclusive screening of CatWalk FurBaby II, a documentary capturing the journey from Spartanburg to New York Fashion Week. Over the past two years, ELYSIAN has kicked off NYFW with this philanthropic fashion show, creating an unforgettable experience that merges fashion and advocacy. The documentary offers a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication, creativity, and passion that bring this vision to life. The first CatWalk FurBaby documentary won Best Documentary at the NYC International Fashion Film Festival in its first year, solidifying its impact. The screening will take place in a private hangar—symbolizing how ELYSIAN continues to reach new heights.

Fashion enthusiasts will be captivated by the stunning Merci Dupre Clothiers fashion show, where models will showcase luxurious, eco-friendly, cutting-edge designs. Adding a heartwarming touch, adorable pups from the Spartanburg Humane Society will grace the runway, reminding us of the deep connection between philanthropy and fashion.

ELYSIAN Connects: On Saturday May 10, the celebration continues with a day dedicated to connection and transformation. Moderated by entrepreneur Lori R. Taylor, guests will engage in an interactive exercise fostering meaningful conversations. The event will also feature an award ceremony honoring trailblazing women, livestreamed and covered by media. Fox Carolina’s Hayley Spitler will present posthumous awards to barrier-breaking women, followed by ELYSIAN’s expansion announcement—evolving its mission from Inspiring Women to also include Aspiring Women. WSPA’s Amy Wood will moderate the national and global awards, recognizing the extraordinary contributions of women around the world.

ELYSIAN Curates: The afternoon will offer breakout sessions featuring panels of select trailblazers—including elected officials, media experts, creatives, global affairs professionals, business leaders, and other professionals. The session What Drives Success? will explore personal stories and strategies for achievement, providing invaluable insights for all attendees.
