ELYSIAN is thrilled to launch its 10-year celebration, “The Sky is the Limit,” with a spectacular two-day event in Spartanburg, SC. The festivities kick off on May 9 with a fundraiser for the Spartanburg Humane Society, an organization that has been serving Spartanburg County since 1964. Dedicated to providing exceptional shelter and care for homeless animals, the Humane Society also implements proactive strategies to combat substandard animal care and reduce the number of unwanted animals.

A long-standing partner of ELYSIAN Impact, the Spartanburg Humane Society has played an integral role in both the 2023 and 2024 CatWalk FurBaby fashion shows, which launched New York Fashion Week. At these events, Spartanburg Humane Society dogs took center stage, walking the NYC runway and finding loving forever homes. Now, they are set to grace the Spartanburg runway on May 9, kicking off ELYSIAN’s milestone celebration in a heartwarming and meaningful way.

The evening will feature a couture fashion show by Merci Dupre Clothiers, founded by Dr. Christina Rahm. Known for its commitment to sustainability, Merci Dupre’s Enviremware garments are crafted from organic fibers, recycled textiles, and innovative biodegradable fabrics. The collection is both sophisticated and timeless, ensuring that each piece remains a wardrobe staple for years to come. Proceeds from the sale of Merci Dupre couture pieces will directly support the Spartanburg Humane Society.

Adding to the excitement, a silent auction will offer exclusive items and experiences, with all proceeds benefiting the Spartanburg Humane Society. Guests will also have the opportunity to view the latest documentary from ELYSIAN Productions, CatWalk FurBaby 2, which captures the behind-the-scenes magic of the second CatWalk FurBaby NYC Fashion Show. This documentary will serve as a fundraising tool, allowing all 21 participating CatWalk FurBaby charities to host watch parties and raise funds for their respective causes. The night will be filled with light bites, cocktails, live music, and an opportunity to adopt and shop—all in the spirit of philanthropy and celebration.

Day two of the 10-Year Celebration continues with “ELYSIAN Connects,” an event designed to inspire and transform. Guests will enjoy a dynamic schedule of activities, with refreshments available throughout the day, allowing attendees to personalize their experience.

Renowned entrepreneur Lori R. Taylor will lead an interactive experience fostering meaningful connections among women, with media coverage amplifying ELYSIAN’s mission. The event will feature discussions on success, leadership, and the future of ELYSIAN, which is expanding to support both established and emerging women leaders.
