Who we are:
More than simply a shelter, Operation Kindness is a haven for homeless pets in need of a second chance to find a loving family. We believe in going above and beyond to give every animal the care and kindness they deserve. We strive for a world where all cats and dogs have loving, responsible homes. In our 46 years of service, Operation Kindness has rescued and rehomed more than 120,000 cats and dogs. We strive to give our animals not only the best medical care possible, but the most enriching daily care for their wellbeing during their stay with us.
Additionally, we are proud to be a community resource to our 70 shelter and rescue partners by providing these programs to help save and enrich the lives of homeless animals in North Texas:
- Lifesaving Program (State-of-the-Art Medical Hospital, Kitten Nursery)
- Shelter/Rescue Partner Program
- Adoption Program
- Behavior Program
- Foster Program
- Community Initiatives Program (Outreach to families in the community who don’t have access to veterinary care)
